I have composed for dozens of projects, from short films to advertisements to documentaries, many of which have been accepted to film festivals across the nation.
My composition style can vary widely depending on the type of project. I currently have access to Logic Pro's MIDI library, outboard Moog Sub 37 synthesizer, the TR-909 drum machine, Korg Wavestation digital synthesizer, and Native Instruments' full MIDI libraryÂ
For larger productions, I also have access to professional musicians like guitarists, drummers, bassists, and singers. I've also recorded myself playing saxophone for some film-scores in the past.
If you would like more specific samples of music similar to your project, please reach out. Don't have time for an original score? I also have a stock music catalog available on Pond5, linked below!
In this advertisement for Southern California clothing brand Skaties, I produced the original song from scratch, using MIDI. Then, recorded a live electric guitar out of an amp to add authenticity to the track. After I mixed and mastered the track, I reinserted the song into my DAW to add dynamic sound effects, making the viewer feel as though they are actually at a secluded cove in Laguna Beach.
Here's a collection of a few more projects that I worked on throughout the years, featuring an NYU senior project, a horror short that placed at NFFTY, a 16-minute comedy short, a documentary, and two more advertisements.
